
Creamy Garlic Chicken
This creamy garlic chicken features golden pan-seared chicken breasts smothered in a rich, buttery garlic-Parmesan sauce. Perfect for serving over mashed potatoes or vegetables.

- 2 large chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- Salt/Pepper
- 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
- ⅓ cup flour
- 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese shredded
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 ½ cups chicken broth
- 1 beef bouillon cube or 1 teaspoon Better than Bouillon
- 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce can sub Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon mustard powder
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 10 cloves garlic whole
- 3 tablespoons flour
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese optional

- Combine the chicken broth, bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, mustard powder, and thyme in a measuring cup and set aside.
- Mix flour and Parmesan cheese on a plate and set out remaining ingredients.
- Slice chicken into thinner pieces, pound to ½ inch thickness, season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Dredge in flour mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden crust forms. Set aside.
- Melt butter in skillet, add garlic and cook 6-7 minutes until caramelized. Add flour and cook 1-2 minutes.
- Slowly add chicken broth mixture while stirring. Add cream, bring to boil, reduce to simmer, and stir in Parmesan.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted green beans. Mushrooms can be added to the sauce at the end for extra flavor.
