Instructions
Instructions
Combine the chicken broth, bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, mustard powder, and thyme in a measuring cup and set aside.
Mix flour and Parmesan cheese on a plate and set out remaining ingredients.
Slice chicken into thinner pieces, pound to ½ inch thickness, season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Dredge in flour mixture.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden crust forms. Set aside.
Melt butter in skillet, add garlic and cook 6-7 minutes until caramelized. Add flour and cook 1-2 minutes.
Slowly add chicken broth mixture while stirring. Add cream, bring to boil, reduce to simmer, and stir in Parmesan.
Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted green beans. Mushrooms can be added to the sauce at the end for extra flavor.
