  • 2 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 8 oz tomato sauce classic saucy base
  • ½ cup ketchup adds a tangy sweetness
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce your favorite, smoky or sweet
  • 1 tablespoon herb and garlic seasoning homemade or store-bought

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, stirring to break up chunks and cook evenly.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet to avoid a greasy slow cooker meal.
  • Add chopped green bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to your slow cooker and spread it evenly.
  • Pour in the tomato sauce, ketchup, BBQ sauce and seasoning. Stir until everything is well combined and coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours. When done, open carefully and stir before serving.
