Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef Can be seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • 1 cup uncooked pasta e.g., penne or elbow macaroni.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz can.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese e.g., cheddar or mozzarella.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables e.g., peas, carrots, corn.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the uncooked pasta, cream of mushroom soup, and frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to an oven-safe casserole dish. Spread it evenly.
  • Top the mixture with shredded cheese.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can customize this casserole by adding different vegetables or swapping the cream of mushroom soup for another flavor, like cream of cheddar.
This dish can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
