In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
Add the olive oil and salt to the yeast mixture, stirring to combine.
Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until it has doubled in size.
After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Shape it into a loaf that fits your loaf pan.
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes.
Place the shaped dough into the greased loaf pan and let it rise again in the air fryer basket for 10-15 minutes.
Once risen, air fry the bread at 320°F (160°C) for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Remove the bread from the air fryer and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
