Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 loaf pan (that fits in the air fryer)
  • 1 spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup Additional ketchup for topping, if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and dried Italian seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf that fits in your air fryer basket. If using a loaf pan, press the mixture into the pan.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the meatloaf in the air fryer basket (or the loaf pan inside the basket). Cook at 360°F for 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • If desired, during the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf for extra flavor.
  • Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Feel free to customize the meatloaf by adding your favorite vegetables or spices.
To serve, pair with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Leftover meatloaf can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for later use.
