  • 1 6-inch round cake pan or air fryer-safe baking dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened (1 stick)
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; set it aside.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and well combined.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Lightly grease the 6-inch cake pan or air fryer-safe baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Once preheated, place the pan in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is still slightly soft.
  • Remove the pan from the air fryer and allow the Pizookie to cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an extra treat.

You can customize your Pizookie by adding nuts, dried fruit, or different types of chocolate.
