  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using. Stir until well mixed.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and brush the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each breast.
  • If desired, cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to retain moisture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Use a kitchen thermometer to check.
  • Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the chicken with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or a green salad for a balanced meal.
