This comforting classic features jumbo pasta shells packed with a cheese and beef filling, covered in rich pasta sauce, and baked until bubbly perfection.
Cook pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Heat skillet over medium. Brown ground beef and minced garlic. Drain fat.
Mix beef, ricotta, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Stuff each shell with the cheese-beef mixture.
Spray baking dish with cooking spray. Add half the pasta sauce to coat bottom.
Arrange stuffed shells in dish. Top with remaining sauce and ½ cup mozzarella.
Cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Leftovers keep well in airtight containers for 3-4 days. Freeze shells before or after baking. Microwave or oven can be used to reheat gently without drying out.
