  • 1 tablespoon Avocado oil for searing beef and stir-frying
  • 1 lb Shaved beef or steak cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 0.5 cup Reduced sodium soy sauce for the sauce base
  • 0.5 cup Water for the sauce base
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • to taste Chili onion crunch or sriracha adds a little heat
  • 1 tablespoon Tapioca flour to prevent sauce clumping
  • 1 cup Steaming rice for serving

  • Whisk sauce ingredients together in a bowl until smooth, mixing in tapioca flour well to avoid clumps.
  • Heat avocado oil in the pressure cooker on sauté mode. Add beef, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until browned but not tough, about 3-4 minutes. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Remove beef and set aside. Add broccoli florets to the empty pot and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender and bright green.
  • Return beef to the pot, pour sauce over everything, and stir well.
  • Seal the pressure cooker and cook on high pressure for 3 minutes.
  • Perform a quick release to release the steam.
  • Open the lid, drizzle sesame oil over the dish, and stir to coat all ingredients.
  • If sauce needs thickening, use sauté to bubble it while stirring.
  • Serve hot over steaming rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
