In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix gently until evenly incorporated. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
Preheat your grill or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned and cooked to your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place one slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
While the patties are cooking, prepare the special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and sweet pickle relish in a small bowl. Set aside.
To assemble the burgers, lightly toast the sesame seed buns if desired. Spread a tablespoon of the special sauce on the bottom bun. Add shredded lettuce, a cooked beef patty with melted cheese, two pickle slices, and a sprinkle of onions.
Add the middle bun (toasted side down), and spread another tablespoon of special sauce on top. Repeat the layering with another patty, lettuce, pickles, and onions before placing the top bun.
Secure the Big Mac with a skewer if needed, cut in half, and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
Feel free to customize your Big Mac with additional toppings like tomatoes, bacon, or different sauces.
