1 9x13 inch baking dish
1 spatula
1 oven
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken Around 1 pound of raw chicken.
- 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened.
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Divided use.
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Divided use.
- ½ cup ranch dressing Can be substituted with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
- ¼ cup chopped green onions Optional, for garnish.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until well blended and smooth.
Add the cooked shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese to the bowl. Stir until everything is well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Top the dip with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Serve warm with tortilla chips, pita chips, or celery sticks.
You can adjust the level of spiciness by using more or less buffalo sauce.
This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking. Just increase the baking time if you bake it straight from the fridge.
For a healthier option, you can substitute the ranch dressing with Greek yogurt.
