Add the diced onions and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking apart with a wooden spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine the spices with the chicken.
Pour in the chicken broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, until the mixture thickens.
While the chicken mixture is simmering, toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or on a skillet until golden.
Once the mixture is ready, remove it from heat and spoon the Cajun chicken mixture onto the toasted buns.
Add any optional toppings as desired and serve hot.
