- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced any color
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

- 4 burger buns

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, cooking until they have softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the ground chicken to the skillet and break it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until it is no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.
Stir in the Cajun seasoning, followed by the tomato paste, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix everything well.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
While the mixture simmers, toast the burger buns if desired.
Serve the spicy chicken mixture on top of the toasted buns, along with your favorite toppings.
For added heat, consider including a bit of cayenne pepper in the Cajun seasoning mix.
