  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 4 mason jars or serving bowls
  • 1 refrigerator

  • 1 cup chia seeds
  • 4 cups almond milk Or any milk of choice.

  • to taste fresh fruits and nuts For topping (optional).

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.
  • Whisk the mixture thoroughly for about 2-3 minutes to ensure that the chia seeds are evenly distributed and not clumping together.
  • Allow the mixture to sit for about 5 minutes, then whisk again to break up any clumps that may have formed.
  • Transfer the mixture into mason jars or serving bowls, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency.
  • Before serving, give the pudding a good stir and top with fresh fruits, nuts, or any other desired toppings for added flavor and texture.

Notes

Chia seeds can absorb liquid and expand, so ensure there's enough liquid in the mixture for the desired thickness.
Feel free to substitute almond milk with coconut milk, soy milk, or any plant-based milk of your choice.
Adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less maple syrup or experimenting with other sweeteners like honey or agave.
