Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 pounds.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Your choice of flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • to taste optional chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Begin by placing the chicken breasts in the crockpot. You can slightly overlap them if necessary.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt to create a spice blend. Rub this mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken, ensuring each breast is well-coated.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crockpot, mixing it with the sauce.
  • Serve the shredded BBQ chicken on buns, over rice, or with sides of your choice. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

You can customize the BBQ sauce with your favorite flavors or level of heat.
