Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lb total.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  • Transfer the sautéed onion and garlic to the crockpot. Add the chicken broth and stir.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts on top of the broth mixture in the crockpot.
  • Pour the heavy cream over the chicken breasts. Make sure they are well coated.
  • Cover the crockpot with the lid. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Once done, remove the chicken from the crockpot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the sliced chicken with the creamy garlic sauce drizzled over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Adjust cooking time based on your crockpot model as some may cook faster than others.
You can serve this dish with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
