Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 pounds.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For extra moisture and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, mix the chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken for extra moisture and flavor.
  • Cover the crockpot with the lid and set it to cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  • After cooking time is complete, use two forks to shred the chicken inside the crockpot, mixing it with the juices for added flavor.
  • Serve hot over rice, in tortillas, or as desired. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish, if using.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add chopped vegetables such as bell peppers or carrots to the crockpot before cooking.
You can adjust the seasoning to your taste or add your favorite herbs and spices.
