Equipment

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 loaf pan
  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped bell pepper any color
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup ketchup for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, minced garlic, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients together until well combined, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf for added moisture and flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is browned.
  • Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to help the juices redistribute.
