Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream Consider using Greek yogurt for a healthier version.
  • ¼ cup sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • If using fresh cranberries, rinse them under cold water and drain. If using frozen, let them thaw completely.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Use an electric mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the cranberries and chopped nuts until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  • Transfer the cranberry dip to a serving dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld (chilling is optional but recommended).
  • Serve with crackers, sliced apples, or veggies.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
For a healthier version, consider using Greek yogurt in place of sour cream.
This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
