Equipment

  • 1 Strainer
  • 4 Rocks glasses or margarita glasses
  • 1 Blender (optional, for cranberry puree)
  • 1 Citrus juicer (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries About 100 grams.
  • 1 cup tequila 240 ml.
  • ½ cup cranberry juice 120 ml.
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice 60 ml.
  • ¼ cup orange liqueur Like Cointreau or Triple Sec (60 ml).
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup Adjust to taste (30 ml).

Instructions
 

  • If using fresh cranberries, rinse them under cold water. If using frozen cranberries, let them thaw slightly. For a smoother drink, blend the cranberries in a blender until pureed and set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
  • If using cranberry puree, add it to the cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into rocks glasses or margarita glasses filled with ice.
  • Garnish each drink with a few fresh cranberries and a slice of lime.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the festive flavors!

Notes

For a frozen version, blend all ingredients (excluding the garnish) with ice until smooth.
Adjust the sweetness of the drink by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
You can rim the glasses with lime juice and salt or sugar for an extra touch.
