Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup dried cranberries chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • ½ cup additional chopped pecans for rolling

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well blended and smooth.
  • Add the chopped pecans, dried cranberries, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Once mixed, use your hands to shape the cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  • After chilling, remove the cheese ball from the fridge and unwrap it. Roll the cheese ball in additional chopped pecans until fully coated on the outside.
  • Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter. Serve it with crackers, sliced fruits, or vegetables for dipping.
