- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup celery, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg beaten
- ¼ cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped cranberries, bread crumbs, chopped onion, chopped celery, minced garlic, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Add the beaten egg and chicken broth to the mixture. Stir until everything is cohesively mixed.
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, form the mixture into balls, approximately 2 inches in diameter. Place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
These stuffing balls can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before baking.
You can freeze the raw stuffing balls and bake them directly from the freezer, just add an extra 5-10 minutes to the cooking time.
Serve with gravy or cranberry sauce for added flavor. Enjoy!
