Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Cook fully and drain off any extra fat.
  • Toss the cooked beef into your crockpot. Add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta cheese, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning on top. Stir to blend evenly.
8 oz Cream cheese, ½ cup Sour cream, 1 cup Ricotta cheese, 1 teaspoon Minced garlic, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Pour in the pasta sauce jars and 24 ounces of water. Mix well to make a sauce base.
48 oz Pasta sauce, 24 oz Water
  • Add the pasta and stir so it gets coated and submerged underwater in the sauce for even cooking.
    16 oz Cavatappi pasta
  • Cover your crockpot and set it on low for about 180 to 240 minutes. For a quicker option, set it on high for 90 to 120 minutes, watching to avoid overcooking.
  • About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover and let it melt.
    2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Before serving, gently stir everything so the cheese stretches through the pasta.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 4 days. Reheat gently with a splash of water or freeze portions for up to 3 months. Add a little cream or milk when reheating if pasta seems dry.
