Equipment

  • 1 Medium saucepan
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Pitcher
  • 1 Stirring spoon
  • 1 Ice cube trays optional

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags black tea
  • 1 cup cherry juice
  • ½ cup sugar Adjust for sweetness.
  • as desired fresh cherries For garnish (optional).
  • as needed ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  • Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes depending on your desired strength.
  • After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in the ½ cup of sugar until completely dissolved.
  • Add the 1 cup of cherry juice to the sweetened tea mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Allow the tea mixture to cool for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a pitcher.
  • Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour or until cold.
  • To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes, pour the chilled cherry iced tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh cherries if desired.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice or fresh mint leaves.
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your preference.
This iced tea can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Enjoy it chilled!
