Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice About 4-6 lemons.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups water Divided into 2 cups for blending with lemon juice and 2 cups for final mix.
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves Packed.
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • optional lemon slices For garnish.
  • optional mint sprigs For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, granulated sugar, and 2 cups of water. Blend on high until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Add the mint leaves and remaining 2 cups of water to the blender. Blend until the mint is finely chopped and well incorporated.
  • Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend until the mixture is smooth and slushy.
  • Taste the frozen lemonade and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more sugar, blending again if necessary.
  • Pour the frozen lemonade into glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
  • If preparing in advance, store the frozen lemonade in the freezer until ready to serve.

Notes

If you prefer less sweetness, reduce the amount of sugar to your taste.
You can prepare this frozen lemonade a few hours in advance; simply store it in the freezer. However, it is best served fresh.
For an adult version, consider adding a splash of vodka or rum for a fun twist!
