These Garlic Bread French Dips are an easy, satisfying dinner featuring crispy garlic toast, tender roast beef, gooey provolone cheese, and rich, savory Au Jus for dipping.
Preheat your oven according to the garlic bread package instructions to get the toast golden and crispy.
In a medium saucepan, mix the Au Jus gravy seasoning with 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes.
While the gravy simmers, line a baking sheet with garlic bread toast and bake until heated through and crispy per package instructions.
Heat roast beef slices in a skillet until warmed through.
Top each piece of garlic toast with 3 slices of roast beef and a slice of provolone cheese.
Return to oven and bake for a couple minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Sprinkle dried parsley on top, pour warm Au Jus into bowls, and serve immediately for dipping.
Notes
For extra crisp, broil the garlic bread briefly. Use deli-sliced roast beef for speed and flavor. Oven reheating is best for leftovers to retain texture.
