Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 pounds.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick, melted.
  • 6 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the garlic butter mixture, coating it thoroughly.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the Italian bread crumbs, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Take each coated chicken breast and press it into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  • Drizzle any remaining garlic butter mixture over the top of the chicken.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C) and the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For an extra garlic kick, you can increase the amount of minced garlic or use roasted garlic in the butter mixture.
Serve these chicken breasts with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
