Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Whisk the marinade ingredients together until well combined.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade.
  • Cover the bowl and let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best flavor.
  • Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, if using.
  • Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and cooked through.
  • Remove from the grill and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, you can experiment with different herbs such as cilantro or basil.
Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Leftover marinade can be used as a dressing for salads or as a sauce, but make sure to cook it first to eliminate any bacteria from the raw shrimp.
