- 4 fillets tilapia About 6 ounces each.
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic Minced.
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- as needed pieces lemon wedges For serving.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Rinse the tilapia fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Place the tilapia fillets in the bowl with the marinade and coat them evenly on both sides. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
Place the marinated tilapia fillets on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Once cooked, remove the tilapia from the grill and let it rest for a minute before serving.
Serve the grilled tilapia with lemon wedges on the side.
For added flavor, consider marinating the fish for up to an hour before grilling.
You can also grill vegetables alongside the tilapia for a complete meal.
This dish pairs well with rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad. Enjoy!
