Equipment

  • 1 large pot with lid or popcorn maker
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 parchment paper
  • 1 microwave-safe bowl
  • 1 rubber spatula
  • 1 set measuring cups
  • 1 set measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 12 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup green candy melts Or green chocolate chips.
  • ¼ cup mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup festive sprinkles Red and white.
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Begin by popping the popcorn. If using a pot, use ½ cup popcorn kernels and follow the instructions to pop them until fully popped. If using a popcorn maker, measure ½ cup kernels and use according to the machine’s instructions. Spread the popped popcorn on a large mixing bowl.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, add the green candy melts. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Pour the melted green candy over the popped popcorn. Use a rubber spatula to gently mix and coat the popcorn evenly.
  • Add a pinch of salt to the popcorn mixture and fold in mini marshmallows and festive sprinkles. Be gentle to avoid crushing the popcorn.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the coated popcorn mixture onto the prepared sheet, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  • Allow the popcorn to cool for about 10 minutes, allowing the candy coating to harden slightly.
  • Once set, break apart the popcorn into clusters or keep it in a large mound. Transfer to serving bowls or package in festive bags for gifting.

For an extra touch, you can sprinkle some edible glitter on top before the popcorn sets.
