- 1 pound ground beef 90% lean
- 4 cups chopped cabbage Approximately half a medium head
- 1 medium onion Diced
- 2 cloves garlic Minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup beef broth
- red pepper flakes Optional for heat

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Use a wooden spoon to break it apart as it cooks. Continue cooking for about 5-6 minutes or until the beef is browned and cooked through.
Season the beef mixture with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine.
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet along with the beef broth. Stir to incorporate the cabbage with the meat mixture.
Cover the skillet and let the cabbage steam and wilt down for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. The cabbage should be tender but still vibrant in color.
Once the cabbage is cooked to your liking, taste and adjust seasoning if needed. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for added heat.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if using.
