Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In the same pot or a large Dutch oven, add the ground beef over medium heat. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, for about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot with the ground beef. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
Once simmering, reduce heat and let it cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Add the cooked egg noodles and frozen peas to the pot. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
