  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned (about 1 cup)
  • 1 count bell pepper, diced (red or green)
  • 3 count green onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sesame oil.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Add the minced garlic and ground ginger to the skillet. Sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, diced bell pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in the soy sauce and sliced green onions. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, mixing everything well.
  • Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
