Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef (93% lean)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 red pepper sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce Use tamari for gluten-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Optional.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced Or ½ teaspoon ground ginger.
  • salt and pepper To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil For drizzling, optional.

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  • Stir in the minced ginger, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, combining well.
  • Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are vibrant and tender-crisp.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle with sesame oil if using.
  • Serve hot on its own or over brown rice for a complete meal.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat or other vegetables like carrots or zucchini.
You can make this dish gluten-free by using tamari instead of soy sauce.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave before serving.
