Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
Add the diced onion and cook for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes translucent.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute, being careful not to burn it.
Add the ground beef to the pot. Break it apart with a wooden spoon and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
Stir in the carrots and celery, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until they soften.
Add the diced tomatoes with their juices, beef broth, frozen green beans, dried basil, and dried oregano to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
