Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast cubed, boneless
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • ½ cup flour or cornstarch for coating, use cornstarch for extra crispiness
  • 2 tablespoon oil for frying, use high smoke point
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoon butter for garlic butter sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic for garlic butter sauce, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream for garlic butter sauce
  • ½ cup Parmesan grated, for garlic butter sauce
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Instructions

  • Season your cubed chicken breast with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Coat the chicken pieces evenly with flour or cornstarch.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Set chicken aside and don’t crowd your pan.
  • In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, black pepper, and optional hot sauce. Stir well to create the sticky sauce.
  • Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for about 2 minutes to let flavors stick.
  • Cook spaghetti or fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving a little pasta water.
  • Melt butter in a pot, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant but not browned. Pour in heavy cream, stir in Parmesan, season with salt and pepper.
  • Toss cooked pasta in the creamy garlic butter sauce while still hot.
  • Plate creamy garlic butter pasta and top with honey pepper chicken. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Use natural release to keep everything juicy, or quick release if in a hurry. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge up to 3 days. For better pasta texture, store chicken and pasta separately. Freeze in freezer-safe containers for long-term storage and reheat gently with added water or cream to maintain creaminess.
