Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 2 Serving glasses
  • 1 Strainer optional

Ingredients

  • 1 cup honeydew melon, cubed About 150g.
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1 cup milk Dairy or non-dairy, such as almond or oat milk.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your honeydew melon. Cut the melon in half, scoop out the seeds, and then use a melon baller or knife to cut it into small cubes.
  • In a blender, combine the cubed honeydew melon, matcha powder, milk, honey (or agave syrup), ice cubes, and a pinch of salt.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Once blended, taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or agave syrup if necessary.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer before serving, though this step is optional.
  • Pour the Honeydew Matcha Frappe into serving glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For added toppings, consider sprinkling some extra matcha powder on top or garnishing with a few honeydew cubes.
This frappe can also be made in larger batches for a party; simply scale the ingredients accordingly.
Feel free to replace honeydew with other melons like cantaloupe for a different flavor profile.
