  • 1 Saucepan for melting butter
  • 1 Kitchen scissors to cut lobster shells

  • 4 ounces unsalted butter for lemon garlic butter sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic thinly sliced
  • 2 lobster tails about 6 ounces each
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup white wine for steam
  • 0.5 lemon sliced for garnish
  • herbs optional, like parsley
  • Non-stick spray or oil to grease air fryer
  • kitchen scissors for cutting shells

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add lemon zest and garlic. Cook 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Use kitchen scissors to cut lobster shell lengthwise and pull meat over shell base.
  • Season lobster meat with salt and pepper generously.
  • Place lobster tails meat-side up in air fryer basket. Add wine to bottom of drawer.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes until internal temp reaches 140°F (60°C).
  • In last 2 minutes, baste with lemon garlic butter.
  • Remove from fryer, drizzle remaining butter, garnish with lemon slices and serve.

Notes

You can prepare lemon garlic butter ahead and refrigerate. Swap wine for broth in a pinch.
