  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 3 mixing bowls
  • 1 skillet
  • 1 oven-safe baking dish
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 tongs
  • 1 cutting board

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For coating.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For sauce.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • optional fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  • In a third bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and then dredge each piece in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip into beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer them to an oven-safe baking dish.
  • In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a light simmer. Whisk in ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth and creamy. Remove from heat.
  • Pour the cream sauce evenly over the chicken breasts in the baking dish. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheeses are bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot with pasta or a side salad.
  • For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before breading.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before breading.
