Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams pasta (fusilli or penne)
  • 1 can (150 grams) tuna in water, drained
  • 100 grams cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 small cucumber, diced
  • 50 grams green bell pepper, diced
  • 50 grams black olives, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise For a lighter version, substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as desired fresh parsley for garnish Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  • Once cooked, drain the pasta using a colander and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, green bell pepper, and black olives.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  • Add the cooled pasta to the bowl with the vegetables and tuna. Pour the dressing over the salad and gently mix until everything is well combined.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.

Notes

You can add other vegetables such as corn or peas for added flavor and nutrition.
For a lighter version, substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
This salad can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
