Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using).
Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and toss well to ensure they are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mixture.
Place the seasoned broccoli on one side of the baking sheet, spreading it out in an even layer.
Position the salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the top of the fillets and season with salt and pepper.
Roast in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, and the broccoli is tender with a slight crisp.
Remove from the oven, and let the dish sit for a couple of minutes.
Serve immediately, squeezing additional lemon juice over the salmon and broccoli if desired.
