Ingredients
  

Rice

  • 1.5 cups Rice Uncle Ben's Converted goes perfect with that sticky sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder to season that pork nice and deep
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder adds that cozy savory vibe
  • 1 teaspoon Salt gotta balance all the flavors

Pork and Sauce

  • 1 pound Pork Boneless, Fat Trimmed Center Cut such as the tenderloin
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper for a little kick
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Canola Oil to get the pork browned real good
  • 3 Garlic finely chopped or minced
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger Paste or fresh grated ginger
  • 0.5 cup Liquid Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce double this amount if you like spicy food
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar any vinegar will work here if you don't have rice vinegar

Broccoli

  • 2 cups Broccoli washed, cut into bite sized pieces

Toppings (Optional)

  • 1 Large Carrot cut into 3" thin strips/match stick pieces (julienne)
  • 1 Stalk Green Onion cut lengthwise into 2"-3" thin strips
  • 1 Red Radish cut into thin round slices
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds

  • Get the rice on the stove, cooking according to package instructions. Add the seasonings right into the rice as it cooks.
    1 teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1 teaspoon Onion Powder, 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Slice the pork thinly (easiest when partially frozen). Season with salt and black pepper.
    1 pound Pork Boneless, Fat Trimmed Center Cut, 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Heat canola oil in a skillet on medium-high until it shimmers. Add pork and brown on all sides, about 6 to 8 minutes.
    1 tablespoon Canola Oil, 1 pound Pork Boneless, Fat Trimmed Center Cut
  • Remove pork and set aside. In the same skillet, add chopped garlic and ginger paste. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
    3 Garlic, 2 tablespoons Ginger Paste
  • Pour in honey and stir. Cook sauce until it thickens into a glaze.
    0.5 cup Liquid Honey
  • Toss pork back in skillet to coat with honey garlic sauce gently.
    1 pound Pork Boneless, Fat Trimmed Center Cut, 0.5 cup Liquid Honey, 1 tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce, 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • Steam broccoli last 10 minutes of rice cooking; finish with a touch of salt.
    2 cups Broccoli, 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Assemble bowls by dividing rice, pork & sauce, and broccoli equally in 4 bowls. Top with carrot, green onions, radish, and sesame seeds.
