- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce optional for serving
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 165°F (74°C).
If you prefer a browned finish, you can heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides before baking them in the oven.
Serve the turkey meatballs hot, topped with marinara sauce if desired.
Feel free to customize your meatballs by adding other herbs or spices of your choice.
Leftover meatballs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
