  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Finish the dip in the oven to get that golden top.
  • Cook the bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat until real crisp. Lay them out on paper towels and crumble once cooled. Crispy bacon is key.
  • In the same skillet, toss in the chopped red onion. Cook till soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook an extra minute.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone, cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, kosher salt, and chopped artichoke hearts. Mix in cooked onion, garlic, and crumbled bacon until well blended.
  • Transfer mixture into a baking dish and even out the top for even heating.
  • Bake the dip for about 25 to 30 minutes until piping hot and light golden brown on top.
