Equipment

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 spoon or spatula
  • 1 silicone molds or ice cube trays
  • 1 freezer

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt and honey (or maple syrup). If you're using vanilla extract, add it at this stage and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the mixed berries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.
  • Spoon the yogurt mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays, filling each section about three-quarters full.
  • Carefully tap the molds or trays on the counter to eliminate any air bubbles and ensure an even surface.
  • Cover the molds or trays with plastic wrap for better freezing results.
  • Place them in the freezer and allow the yogurt bites to freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.
  • Once frozen, carefully remove the yogurt bites from the molds. If they are difficult to remove, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds to loosen them.
  • Enjoy the yogurt bites immediately, or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Feel free to substitute mixed berries with any other fruits you enjoy, such as diced mango, peaches, or bananas.
You can also experiment with different flavorings such as cocoa powder or nut butter for variety.
For a creamier texture, use Greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt.
