Equipment

  • 1 Coffee maker or French press
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 2 Tall glasses
  • 1 Spoon for stirring
  • 1 Ice cube tray (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups brewed coffee Chilled.
  • 4 tablespoons caramel syrup Adjust to your taste.
  • 1 cup milk Whole, skim, or plant-based.
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • optional whipped cream Optional for topping.
  • optional extra caramel syrup For drizzling.

Instructions
 

  • Brew 2 cups of your favorite coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature, then chill it in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes, or until cold.
  • In two tall glasses, add 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup to each glass. Adjust the amount to your taste if desired.
  • Fill each glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • Pour an even amount of the chilled coffee over the ice in each glass.
  • Top each glass with half a cup of milk, mixing to combine all ingredients.
  • If desired, add whipped cream on top and drizzle more caramel syrup over the whipped cream for added sweetness and presentation.
  • Stir well before drinking, and enjoy your delicious caramel iced coffee!

Notes

For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
You can make your own caramel syrup if you prefer a homemade version.
This recipe is easily adjustable; feel free to modify the amount of milk and caramel syrup to suit your taste.
Use flavored coffee for an extra twist, such as vanilla or mocha.
