Instructions
Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup of the cooking water and drain the rest.
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and butter to the pan, stirring until the butter is melted and the mixture is well-combined.
Lower the heat and stir in the mozzarella, parmesan, fontina, and gorgonzola cheeses until melted and smooth.
Add salt and black pepper to taste.
Toss the cooked pasta in the cheese sauce, adding the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
